The procedure for entering Russia to study at the University

When crossing the border, you must indicate in the migration registration card that the purpose of your stay is to STUDY.

Upon arrival at the University, you must register for migration and purchase Health Insurance.

At the time of arrival to study at the University, a foreign citizen must provide the following list of documents:

  • A document providing the identity of a foreign citizen (passport);
  • Migration registration card;
  • Translation into Russian of a document providing the  identity of a foreign citizen, certified in accordance with the established procedure (translation of a passport);
  • Originals of documents on education and all envisaged supplements indicating the studied subjects and the marks (points) obtained in the exams in these subjects;
  • A duly certified translation into Russian of a document on education of  a foreign state and its supplement (if such a supplement is provided for by the legislation of the state that issued the document on education);
  • 8 photos 3x4 cm, matte.
  • Medical certificate confirming the general state of health and including the results of fluorography and information about the absence of HIV (original).

ALGORITHM OF  ENTRY PROCEDURE FOR  FOREIGN CITIZENS TO THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

  • At least 10 days before arrival, a foreign citizen notifies the University about crossing the border;
  • No earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Russia, a foreign student is obliged to test for COVID-19 by PCR in his country and, in case of a negative result, receive the corresponding document in Russian or English;
  •  Within 72 hours after entering the territory of Russia, a student must pass a second PCR test. Before receiving the test results, a foreign citizen must comply with the self-isolation regime at the place of residence. During the isolation period, the training takes place in an online format;
  • If symptoms of an acute respiratory disease appear, the student is obliged to immediately inform the University and call a doctor.
